Juniper Bonsai Leaves Yellowing

Hi all! Trying my first bonsai with a juniper bonsai and started well. However the leaves have been getting more yellow recently compared to the deeper green it was. And it feels more brittle.

I currently have it inside on an east- facing window sill, but I'm considering moving it outside entirely. I live in a pretty warm area in NC so I just don't want the it to get burnt.

Any tips and suggestions for watering, sunlight, etc.? Anything helps.

Hello! I had one of these a few years ago, looked just like yours! Unfortunately though, I killed it ๐Ÿ˜ญ but it could be under watered if the leaves feel dry, brittle, and are turning yellow- only if the soil is dry. If the soil is wet though and it looks that way, it could be root rot. When moving outside, Iโ€™d aim for morning or late afternoon sun only, I had mine out in full sun most of the day and it shriveled up and died, could have been to my lack of watering but you have to learn somehow I guess! I hope this helps! ๐Ÿ™
