When you say yellow and brown, do you mean the leaves on the tree are yellow with brown spots? Lemon trees can be silly sensitive and almost dramatic about their conditions, at least that’s been my experience. I’d assume by what I could see in the picture that’s it currently? It sounds like you might have a pathogen infection. Are you losing leaves or anything like that?
