Hey Maegan ๐Ÿ‘‹ I haven't tried it with a Pachira, but it absolutely should work! ๐Ÿฅฐ There are very few plants you can root in water really... You should swap out the water every 5-7 days, OR just swirl it about in the jar to stop algae forming and top it up as needed (both work perfectly well). I find taking them out and checking them every so often is good too... Partly to see ๐Ÿ‘€๐Ÿ‘€ if there are any roots forming yet ๐Ÿ˜‚ but also to check for rot. If you find the bottom of the stem has gone squishy and is going brown you'll need to chop it off and start again. Sometimes leaving a cutting to callous for 24hrs before putting it in water helps to avoid that (says the voice of experience! Haha ๐Ÿ˜‚) xx
