It never grows!

#AirPlant doesn’t really do anything. It’s been years.

@Luppsy hello πŸ‘‹πŸ» What kind of conditions do you have it in? Lighting, temperature, when do you water, do you fertilize? If you can’t tell that it’s growing then your plant is not very happy with its conditions πŸ₯Ί But once you get all the conditions right it will show you it’s happy! πŸ₯³The central part is where new growth is sprouting up from, thats where I look to monitor growth.
@Luppsy but also, they’re not super fast growers, they can take years to mature.
@Luppsy Hi! How do you water it? I have a lot of air plants, I don’t have many of them on here, but I am watering mine right now. I put them in bowls of water for about an hour or so. Most air plants love light! Once I put mine in filtered bright light they took off! This is how I water mine. Leave them there for at least an hour especially the big ones. I also fertilize them. They have airplant fertilizer you mix in the water. Let us know the details of your care and we will be happy to able to help out more than we have- good luck!πŸͺ΄
@DreamMachine @Ponytailmom thanks for the advice 😁 When I water it (probably 1x/month) I soak it in a cup of water for about 1/2 hr. It’s in a west facing bay window and the room stays at about 65-70degrees. maybe I’ll move it to a brighter spot and water it longer with fertilizer. Maybe more often too?
@Ponytailmom beautiful collection!!!
@Luppsy I don’t know your homes conditions, but I would think they want water more than 1x a month, at least mine do! I water mine once every ~11 days or so. But Darah @Ponytailmom has an amazing collection 🀩 and might know best. Wow, really amazing!
@Luppsy that will probably help! Good Luck!
I water mine about every 2 weeks for half hr. I leave sitting on a paper towel for 24 hours to dry and place back in their hanging glass bulb in an east facing window. They have new growth but very slow growing.
I water mine about every 2 weeks and put them in holders and add them to my plant shelves with other plants. I was told to not let the roots get wet so I put them in water about an hour, upside down.
