@teacher12 can you give plants distilled water ? I donβt think you could ?
Definitely! Rainwater is best, but some of us do not get enough rain. Tap water can work if you have proper filtration, or you can leave water out overnight, which I believe neutralizes it or something. I use filtered water from my fridge for a lot of my plants, but for my more temperamental plants I prefer distilled water. You can test water and learn exactly what your plants need, but I havenβt gotten that advanced with my plant journey (yet!) π₯°π±

Good morning π!
Generally speaking, unless you have pure water from your own well or access to enough rain water, what's coming out of your tap water is harmful and potentially lethal for some of your plants, because of the toxic chemicals that are added to that water...I make my own distilled water for my babies πͺ΄.
Using distilled water to make coffee with is also delicious π€€ and gives back that real flavor of Joe!
