I watered my neoregelia Freddy before I left for vacation and got back to her being soggy in the middle where the blooms are. Is this normal or did I hurt my plant with too much water?

Morning, Amber! You’ve most likely not hurt your plant.  It’s a #Bromeliad and it has a life cycle that will end in the death of the plant no matter what you do.

Can you post a current picture of your plant?  I would like to see how far along it is.

When you got it, did it have a flower in the middle? Is the flower still there?
