Rust spots on alocasia polly leaves

Hi Everyone! I noticed these rust colored spots on my alocasia while repotting today. Is this something I should be worried about? I do not see any pests on it. This is the 1st time I've tried growing an alocasia. Loving the Greg app-it has given me more confidence with indoor plants. Any help and guidance would be appreciated. #happyplants #plantsmakepeoplehappy #alocasiaaddicts #alocasia #plantaddict #planttherapy

@Suzanthophile here is a pic on one of my leaves, where it has stopped.
I think it’s a fungal infection. Here is some information about it. https://gardenforindoor.com/brown-spots-on-alocasia/
@CourtlyKingfern Thank you!
I have had that on my Alocasia Polly as well. I believe it’s from over watering, or saturated soil that’s just not drying fast enough. My Alocasia is in a really low light location so it doesn’t dry that fast. I moved it to a slightly better spot with more light, and the soil dried out and the rust spots stopped spreading. Trying to be more careful about watering now. Sometimes I am tempted to water too frequently. 😬
@nellz4estfairyz Thank you. I repotted using a soil with better drainage. Hopefully the spots will stop. I also am trying to be more careful with watering.🀞
@nellz4estfairyz Thank you for sharing the picture. That is exactly what the spots on my plant look like.
