What are those thinks called XP on this app for?

It’s short for experience. You can’t do anything with it, but you get it for adding new plants, watering your plants and answering questions. If someone has a lot of XP it generally means they have a lot of plants and/or have answered a lot of questions on the app so they are generally a good source of knowledge.
