How much sun do they get? They LOVE sun.

EDIT- aren't you in zone 7? Folks put them in flower beds and they do really well in the sun.

I’m with @sarahsalith on this one. My Alocasia and caladiums will all get leggy if I don’t have them directly under the sun. They love to stretch out and find the sunniest spot, if you preemptively put them there, they no longer have to go looking for it and stay upright and shorter. 😃

Check it often- daily in the summer since it's in pot. The soil shouldn't dry out. They LOVE water. (:
