I would definitely recommend snipping it off. It could need more humidity. Distilled water is highly recommended too, NOT TAP WATER.
I can only keep these guys happy with distilled water, daily (or as often as I can remember) misting, and keeping them in a tiny greenhouse. It’s been a journey πŸ˜‚

Distilled or rain water only, you need a pretty good amount of humidity also. Pebble trays or humidifiers work. What kind of light is it in? They prefer medium indirect. This does look like a possible humidity/water issue though. Aaaand I have one of these, sometimes a leaf just kinda likes to turn crispy on the edges and I even keep him by a humidifier & only use rain water.
