What are these things? And why are my leaves a bit warped...

Anyone know what specific species this is? I think it has pests but these are so sensitive I don’t know what to use to kill the pests without killing the plant. I have insecticidal soap, bonide houseplant granules, BioAdvanced houseplant spray that kills on contact and another BioAdvanced organic spray that kills in minutes. I also have the arbor bio-insecticide. #PestControl #TropicalPitcherPlant #Nepenthes #PitcherPlant #HappyPlants #PlantsMakePeopleHappy #PlantAddict #CarnivorousPlants #CarnivorousClub @Seymour and friends?

Do you mean the white dots? Could be mealies. Do they look powdery or are there powdery or dewy or moldy spots around where they don't belong? Then it's them.
Most plants are okay with treatment (spot treatment with isopropyl alcohol. Dab some on them with a swab and it kills them instantly). However, pitchers are my "probably never" plant, so I don't know anything about them specifically. Maybe try it on a small spot of a leaf.
The treatment needs to repeated for weeks, vigilantly and the plant should be isolated (should it indeed be mealies), surfaces wiped, all small hiding places wiped and monitored. They are easy to kill, but hard to get rid off
I think it’s mold on that wood πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ if it’s those white spots you’re talking about ? And as far as id. That’s probably impossible with nepenthes. If they didn’t say then you’ll probably never know unless you can identify it after it gets pitchers and us mature.
1 seller can literally have 500 kinds and another seller another 500 kinds and another 500 kinds lol. They breed these things like orchids so πŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈπŸ€·β€β™‚οΈ
I have 2 in my watchlist on eBay. 1 is 25$ 1 is 600$ and right now you can’t tell em apart hardly. Course I’ll never buy the 600$ one! But I’m watching cause I’m curious how high the bids get on it
@TheConservator I have plenty in my watchlist too lol but I probably won’t buy any. Etsy is a good place to find plants too. I’ve never bought from either place but they seem pretty good. Anyone know why my leaves are warped? And one or two on another set seem to be having a hard time unfolding. Anything I can do?
