Is my basil growing a flower??? Should I cut it ?

Yes. They flower prolifically. If you want to continue to harvest from her though, you will want to cut that flower off and keep pinching it back anytime it flowers. The plant will put energy into the flowers and not through the leaves, and it will cause deterioration of the plant overall. But if you want it to run its natural course then leave the flowers.

When your basil goes to flower, (if you prefer) they are usually kept outside, for pollination, and seed collection. Letting them flower also compromises the basil leaves/flavor. I agree with Melissa that if you want a lot more harvest, you want to take off that flower, so the energy will go into producing foilage, not flowers. Happy gardening. 🌱
