I’m new here, and I got my new basil plant.
The vender told me to water it 3 times a week, but the app is telling me to do it every 6 days.

Generally, Basil need about 1 inch of water each week, especially those potted ones that dry out a bit quicker. A great tip is to check the soil moisture by sticking your finger 1-2 inches down—if it feels dry, go ahead and water it well until the top couple of inches are nice and moist (but not soggy).
