Why are leaves turning yellow?
I recently got a cutting of an #AfricanMilkBush recently and I was told I can put it directly in soil so I did. But the leaves are turning yellow and droopy and this morning the plant was tilted over a bit as well. What could be the issue? Should I have put it in water first? #Euphorbia #PlantAddict #WhatTheSucc #SucculentSquad #SucculentLove
2ft to light, direct
4” pot with drainage

This may be a watering issue. Overwatering can cause the leaves on your African Milk Bush to turn yellow.
@nila I agree with @Pegster it’s looks like a overwatering issue.
@KikiGoldblatt @Pegster Thank you both! I will avoid watering for awhile and see what happens. If the yellowing gets worse maybe I’ll try repotting it with fresh drier soil.
How long ago did you put it in soil?
@RJG it’s been around 3 weeks now.
Looking any better? It would makes sense to be that I would drop leaves at first as it was focusing on growing new roots!
@RJG All the leaves are pretty much yellow or gone, but it’s still standing lol
@nila yep. even my established euphorbia normally drop most of their leaves right before they start growing again. 🀞🏼🀞🏼
@RJG ahh okay, good to know! I’ll be patient then and see what happens. Thank you! 😊
