Brown wrinkled leaves :(
SudoWoodo is not doing well :( most of his leaves are wrinkled and brown, and one leaf at the bottom (photo 3) has some type of white film on it… he’s in regular soil with perlite, has a drainage hole, i water him whenever the top 3” dry out… but his soil has been moist for a while •_• #FicusGinseng #FicusFam

You may have to remove the soil if it’s stinky or tooooo moist. A terracotta pot may regulate the moisture more

Maybe start over fresh- like soil mix and pot. I’m not entirely sure what is causing this. Maybe use distilled bottled water if not already. Some of my plants are extra prissy and will not even tolerate evaporated tap water- so I do bottled and they’re okay with that.

@Howellml I’ll have to give that a try, I’ll be honest I water everything with normal tap water (sometimes evaporated) so maybe distilled will do the trick

@ShaeWayBaby I agree with @VickiTheHippie, I am now using terracotta pots for all my new plants. Love the terracotta pots. Ask @RJG they are wonderful.

My ficus is a bonsai, it lives in a shallow plastic pot in regular potting mix...everything I've read says not to let it get too dry...but then again that is for a bonsai... repotting is always a good option!

Not enough sunlight? Mine was having a similar problem so I put it in the window and it got somewhat better
