Hello! The nursery where I bought my plant suggested keeping the pot in a tray of water. Is this what you all are doing? This is one of three in my initial foray into carnivorous plants. Thanks!

I read that letting forked sundews sit in water is safe for the plant and that it helps the soil to stay damp, hope this helped!
Yes...try to always keep 1-2 cm of water in the tray. Anyway in winter you shouldn't do it, you just need to keep the soil moist. That's because the plant goes into a ''lethargic state'' and doesn't drink that much.
