Is this normal?

Is this something plants to as they’re growing? #NewGrowth #PlantAddict #HappyPlants #GrowLights
1ft to light, indirect
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 4 days ago
@Hails42 Pretty normal, I think! Mine do that all the time πŸ˜‚ I read somewhere (might have been here) that it can be caused by low humidity, so I've been misting mine when I see a new leaf coming in. Results vary but it seems to help at least a little 😊
Yeah that’s normal for the Pink Princess Philo… Even with good humidity lol
Thought you hacked my phone and posted my Philo… πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚ πŸ˜‚
As Miguel and Sadie say... It's totally normal! with PPPs especially... Sometimes you do need to gently free them if they really get stuck, but it's always my last resort tbh! It's so easy to damage new leaves, even if you're being REALLY gentle! (This I leaned from my first Monstera! Lol pic attached is what my "help" looked like in the end and I was ever so careful... The chunk out of the leaf wasn't me btw! Lol that was the furry murderess known as Annie! 😹😹 But the parallel lines of damage is typical of an unfurling injury!). Philos are a bit like Monstys in that way, their leaves need time to harden off, so when they first emerge they're really delicate! πŸ₯° But for worry, she's just being her weird little self lmao 🀣🀣 xx
It’s just a new leaf emerging, so fun to watch and wait!
