Is this a deformation?
Each new leaf is majorly curling and I’m not sure this is normal. I bought this plant for my son who picked it out about 4 months ago from a very reputable nursery near us. It has been this way since we got it, and I’ve been doing all I can think of to help get the leaves to fully open and not curl. She started with two heavily deformed leaves. At this point it feels more like a deformity on the plant itself, but I’m still not sure. It was labeled a “rare plant” and we paid a decent price for it, and I’m feeling a little ripped off honestly. I had her in a neutral area for a bit with filtered light and then moved her to the window with bright direct light (she seems to like it here more and put out 2 leaves), but they are still heavily curled. Is there something I’m doing wrong or something else I can try? Thank you all!!

@Lifeis2short yeah I’ll have to try adding humidity, luckily there are no pests thank goodness!
