My Lola has been doing so well. Today, I woke up to a bro...

It could be a few things, is it only the 1 leaf? And is it an older leaf? Or newer? It could be an old leaf retiring (yay plant self sufficiency π€©) or it could be a bacterial infection. If itβs bacterial weβll want to repot with fresh soil, or treat soil by rinsing 2x with hydrogen per odor & water. The ration for the hydrogen & water mixture is 1 to 8 parts of water. Weβll also soak down the plant with all leaves and stems in the mixture too. Best of luck!! Let me know if you have any questions π€©π±β¨ @RichBlinks73
@RichBlinks73 it seems these spots come out of nowhere with these calatheas. But I have noticed that sometimes they kind of get "the cold" a little like us humans during the winter. At least I see some spots here and there more often during wintertime on my calatheas π
But, it looks like you are misting am I right? In some cases misting might contribute to infections and spots on the leaves if waterdroplets stay on the leaves. I do not mist my calatheas as they are so sensitive. If you are trying to up the humidity I would reccomend a humidifyer instead, or get a "plant-cabinet" to keep them inπ
Have you fertilized or repotted? She might also be reacting to something in the fertilizer, soil or water you use (do you use tap-water?)

@RichBlinks73 Yes I have a cabinet (it is just a glass-cabinet from ikea) that I keep my calatheas in. It keeps 10% higher humidity than in the rest of the livingroom, which is great when it gets dryer now in winter (so I keep 50-60% in the cabinet and 40-50% in the livingroom). I also have a humidifyer in the livingroom.
