Snake plant prop’s roots are brown?

Does this mean that the roots are established now? Or is it rot? They used to be white, though theyre still white at the very ends. It is a water prop for context, and ive had it for a few months now. #PropagationStation #RootRot #PlantAddict #PlantTherapy #RootPorn #help

Looks to doing great. I’m no expert but by looking at the actual leaf, it may be ready to plant in soil
@cereal I wish I could help you but I am doing the same thing right now with my snake leaf
@plantstyle The only other thing i could find about this is this thread:

Apparently it is a normal color for the roots? So i might try planting it in soil soon, since the roots are not white anymore
@cereal it will work out
@plantstyle I see a bit of black on yours, that looks more like rot to me? I’m not sure though
@cereal I never paid attention to that. I will look into it thank you.
@GreenPurpose Awesome thank you!! I’ll buy a pot for it as soon as i can :) Glad it’s nothing to be worried about
@cereal you got time. The roots are still growing.
@GreenPurpose Good to know! Thanks again πŸ’šπŸͺ΄
