I’d say take him out of the original soil he came with, a lot of times the soil they are sold in retains too much water & it looks like yours is overwatered or retaining too much.. I’d take him out & make sure his roots & stem are not black, knock off the old soil & put him in new, well draining soil! Don’t water unless soil is completely bone dry. Hope this helps & goodluck 😁
