Losing leafs and color

Hi, I'm new to citrus trees and live in RI. We aren't the best place to grow citrus trees but I wanted to give it a shot. Currently I have this buddhas hand, a meyer lemon tree, and a yuzu tree. The yuzu has been losing leafs and this buddhas hand tree just lost its first leaf. I wanted to see what I might be doing wrong. I put it out for the day when the weather is nice, if not it stays indoors. Thank you in advance

I'm not very well-versed in citrus trees but the yellowing here could be nutrient deficiency
fertilizing is recommended during the plant's growing season (May-October)
My fruit trees stay outside once the nighttime temps are above 40ยฐ. They thrive. I think your plants are suffering from lack of sunlight. My plants are outside no matter the weather from about mid March to November or December.

I would also consider reporting your plant into a gallon nursery pot and give it room to grow.
