My peperomia is struggling
Hiiiii! So Iβve had my peperomia for a few years now and it was growing and getting very beautiful. But the past month or so itβs started to get sad? Then I started to not a lot itβs leafs falling off and eventually the stems started to darken up to and fall outβ¦ I have no idea why. I water it once to twice a month since I got it and it was doing great with that schedule. Only thing that changed was me moving to a room in the basementβ¦ any ideas/solutions are appreciated! #help #advice #NewPlantMom

Hi there! It sounds like your Peperomia is having a tough time adjusting to its new basement home. Basements can be quite dark and dry, which isn't ideal for most houseplants. Here's what you can try:
* Light: Peperomias like bright, indirect light. If your basement doesn't have enough natural light, consider using a grow light to supplement the light.
* Humidity: Basements can be very dry, which can cause leaf drop. Try misting your Peperomia regularly or using a humidifier to increase the humidity around the plant.
* Watering: While it's important to water your Peperomia when the top inch of soil is dry, overwatering can also be a problem. Make sure the pot has good drainage and avoid watering too frequently.
If the leaves continue to fall, you may need to move your Peperomia to a brighter location with higher humidity. With a little extra care, your Peperomia should bounce back.
