Brown spots on leaves

#GoldenPothos Help- two leaves on my plant have these dark brown spots. Does anyone know what's wrong? It's my first Golden Pathos plant
4” pot with drainage
Last watered 3 days ago
If they are soft and limp it’s probably an overwatering problem. If it’s dry and crunchy probably under watered. You can check the roots to make sure there isn’t anything going on down below. If there are any rotten roots cut them away and treat with hydrogen peroxide.
I had the same issue with a golden pothos I got from Lowes. I believe it was under watered. I cut the dried leaves off and water it when it’s about 2 inches dry and it’s been doing better. No more dried leaves
Looks like it’s a fungal problem from too much water/moisture. They like their soil to almost dry out before watering again. πŸžπŸ¦‹πŸŒ»πŸŒΈπŸͺ΄
I agree with CarmiB - looks like too much water, no soil drainage.

I repotted mine in better soil, ensured good drainage, let the top 2” dry out between waterings, and don’t have a problem.
@Herbologybadger how do you tell if roots are rotten?
@WhollyTigersjaw just gently as possible, remove it from the pot, brush as much of the soil off as possible to expose the roots so you can see them. If there are any black, dark brown or mushy roots you have some rot going on.
