They keep growing flowers, pink ones
@SwellMandarin hi there! Did Greg identify it as such? It *looks* like a type of air plant. I have just one airplane that I care for by putting it upside down in water to allow it to drink for maybe 10 minutes or so. After that, I set it upside down on paper towels to let it drain a bit and then back to it’s spot. How do you water yours? #AirPlant

That's an Earth Star (Crypanthus) on top and an air plant (flowering) below.
Earth Stars can be pricey, so if you got it at an air plant price, good for you. The Cryptanthus is a Bromelaid. You should place it atop very "organic" soil. Stuff like worm castings, reg. potting soil, peat, perhaps a piece or two of bark, etc. The pot needs to be small - like 4" diameter and 3" high. Your Earth Star needs full direct sun year round. Water often (even right into the "cup" on top. In the past year my has only dried out on me perhaps 3 or 4 times, but it bounced back after a heavy water (I've let it sit in a saucer until it couldn't drink anymore). You're going to love your Earth Star Bromelaid Cryptanthus.
