Definitely check for other pests like mealybugs
Awww! I hope you can bring it back! You may want to check out it’s roots to see if they are healthy (firm, not mushy). When you do this you may find that it needs a larger pot, if it’s root bound. Just make sure it has drainage. Put it in bright *indirect* light so it’s leaves don’t get sunburned.
You may also want to spray it with neem oil in case it has any pests. The neem oil won’t hurt the plant, but be sure to keep it out of sunlight after spraying it, so it doesn’t get burned. (Just overnight.) Going back to root rot, if you find it does have some root rot, rinse all the soil from the roots, clip off the mushy roots with sterilized scissors or clippers, rinse the roots with hydrogen peroxide and put into a *clean* pot with drainage and with fresh soil. You may need to downsize the pot if u remove a lot of roots.
Great job rescuing this guy! I hope he pulls through! πŸ‘πŸΌπŸ‘πŸΌπŸͺ΄πŸ’š
I agree with @Seedstarter and also keep it quarantined from other plants until the pests have been fully removed
Thanks all! It’s currently quarantined and I sprayed with neem oil! Doesn’t look like there’s any bugs. Will check roots tomorrow! Thanks again!!
@OfficialBulrush No problem!
Make sure it’s nicely watered
Hope it bounces back, you got some good advice here 😊
