Hello @BeefyOgresears welcome to Greg. From the pic I am guessing this is an oriental/aviation lily. Thesexare perennial. ONCE the bloom has died off the foilage will also die. Once all the foliage has browned cut it off about 2 inches front the soil. Leave the bulbs alone and you will get another lily or 2 next spring. Overwatéing is usually the issue with most plant when you start to see lower leaves browning. I hope this helps. Have you thought about planting this outside?
