@RJG & @alex I went to 3 shops/growers around Dallas that I've already filled in on what I've been working on and hope to bring EVERYONE in on, Plant Swap/Meetup Events ALL over!

First I went to my favorite local shop, Plants & Planters in Richardson Texas. Wait till y'all see the BEAST of a Monstera Adansonii I scored for only $30!

Then I went and met Tanner Mitchell (AKA Tanner the Planter on tiktok with >1million followrs) and visited his shop.

I also met the crew at Steve's Leaves and got a quick tour around their incredible greenhouse! And I'm going back for an IN DEPTH tour!

We talked plants, my podcast, my mission and goals, and the collaborations in working on with Greg and many others.

This is about to be BIG. VERY SOON I'll be hosting my 1st TPDL Plant Swap & Meetup. Y'all will be the first to hear and EVERY SINGLE #northtexasgreggang better come out and be there. Especially since it's at my hometowns Farmers Market (Mesquite TX)

Rearranged plants. Got rid of a few hopeless cases. 🌵(waves goodbye) … did a good bit of spraying leaves with neem oil/dr bronner soap… diatomaceous earth in pots… need to put out sticky traps…stared at my new philo Malay gold … rewrapped my satin pothos around his pole … basic maintenance.  Browsing eschiverias cuz I’m dying to make one bloom 😊. Never knew how spectacular some of their flowers 🌸 are. But I succ at succs. Pretty normal day.

Just set up my new pad! As a reward I went to Plant Land and got a few cacti, a honeysuckle, and  a Tillandsia. Stopped by Goodwill, too, and got a decorative wire rack and a unique short-wave radio to use as a stand. Michelle at Plant Land said they are expecting a shipment of houseplants from Florida by the end of the month. Super excited to be in my new house with plenty of windows and looking forward to exploring cold-hardy species!!

I think they’ll be going to the homestead with me this weekend. I was also planning on going to a nursery in Arlington this weekend to work on my garden in Waco. ☺️
