Boobie Cactus Browning!
I had a feeling this was in the wrong soil after I got it and finally took it out of the soil and it turns out the bottom portion of the cactus was under the soil and is turning brown.
The entire cactus has lil tiny yellow splotches not sure if this is regular or related to the above.
Now Iām repotted and not sure if I should like the brown part buried like it was or keep it above the soil?
Any help is greatly appreciated!!

Is it hard or mushy? It could either be corking (healthy for the plant) or rot from moisture/pests/bacteria (bad)
