How is it going for the ones gardening?

I’m in zone 8A. So far i don’t have nothing set yet but I have 4inch pots- 3 gallon pots of seedlings that are maturing. I started earlier this week, my 2nd round of seedlings. Seeds have been 99% planted and are doing okay for now! Gonna plant some beans when the corn starts growing so they’ll climb the corn stalks. Can’t recall what all is out there as it’s my mom’s garden. 😂

I took the tops off some of mine yesterday. Will see how they do and can hopefully get my mini greenhouse outside set up as soon as this cold snap passes. I still have a few containers with lids still growing. Outside I’ve had 2 snap pea plants grow a little taller. Onions have definitely started to take off. Got some mint starters off a friend and they seem to be establishing themselves. I haven’t uncovered my strawberries yet but I can see leaves popping up through the straw so I’ll be able to uncover them soon too. Haven’t planted any seeds that are direct sow just yet but hope to very soon!

@CorvidFan nope i have now 6-7 strawberry plants! So far just lots of growth, no strawberries

Hey yay! I’m in zone 8b - we did get started reeeeally late but this is also my first year doing this much, so we plan to learn and add more each year.

@RealSimpleMama same here! This is my 2nd year gardening and I’m adding some new stuff and I’m able to start earlier this year! Just started dealing with aphids!

@Herbalgreen25 GAH I hate aphids. So far I only have them on all of my milkweed 🙄 just did a ton of transplanting today!

@RealSimpleMama been spraying and checked the soil today, she needed a repot so that could be a reason for the aphids

I have a small garden this year. But next year is going to be awesome! We just tilled up more land and will prepare for a great harvest next season. I’m in Washington State. Looking forward to my tomatoes to ripen. It’s taking forever.
