At least they are NOT toxic! π¬
It's not dead. They can indeed lose all of their leaves and come back.
While it looks like that though be sure to take it out of the pot crumble alway all of the dirt with your finger to remove soil around lower trunks and root ball. Then cut off the rubber band nurseries put down there hidden to hold the trees together during transport.
They will die eventually as the trees grow if not cut off.
A tip I've learned from dogs if they eat a plant and like it the will go back for more. So you will have to put them out of your dogs reach. Since yours has a taste for money trees.
Then be patient with her you won't see new growth for a couple of months because she will be shocked. Dont worry as long as her root system is good she'll come back.
Watch the watering though because she won't be drinking as much and you don't want her sitting in wet soil. That will just lead to fungal and bacterial issues. They like to dry out completely between watering.
They are really durable trees though and she should be fine. Just be sure to remove the rubber bands.
