Experiment 1: Monstera Deliciosa & Pothos (1 Month Update!)
Hi #GregGang! πŸ‘‹πŸ½

❗️Back again with another #ScienceWithGreg update for y’all! This one is about my #Monstera D. cutting! A month ago, I first paired it with a #MarbleQueenPothos and this was THE START of #ScienceWithGreg!!! This cutting and my #MiniMonstera are the ones that started the community! 🀍🌿✨

OG Post: https://greg.app/question/18nn40/experiment-1-mini-monstera-marble-queen-pothos-placed-a-mini-monstera-cutting-with-a-marble-queen

πŸ”¬ After I noticed some growth and learned more about #waterpropagation with #pothos, I propagated this cutting in 50/50 distilled & #PothosWater! LOOK AT THESE ROOTS…AND A NEW LEAF! Its a lil damaged cause Ive been neglecting it in a tall quick trip cup, but the results are STILL amazing!! πŸ€©βœ¨βš‘οΈπŸŒΏπŸ’§

πŸ“Έ Look at those thicc roots 😍 Last picture is from the OG post! Look at those tiny roots that I had started with! 😭

@LatiTish84 I keep forgetting the tag πŸ˜… thank you thooo 🀭✨🌿
You're getting great results! I thought the golden pothos had the most hormone, but marble with isn't too shabby!

I stuck golden pothos cuttings in my water props last week and, if it's possible and not wishful thinking, they all seem to be doing better with everyone showing roots and established roots growing more substantial. That's two purple hearts and two hottentot figs (both are landscaping in my yard so why not?), a pair of swiss cheese plant leaves, and the pathetic top I lopped off an even more pathetic and extremely elongated Chinese money plant (it arrived like that and I'm giving it one last chance at survival).Thank you @kscape, go #sciencewithgreg

My mama pothos needed a pruning and my hanging one needs some fullness so I was able to um, I never could figure how you'd kill a bird with a stone in the first place, but I did that with two?

Again, thank you for doing this!
@Paradox I hope to see great results from you too! I have come to find out that Golden, Marble, Snow and Njoy (maybe?) have shown a little more root progress as compared to the other Pothos!

Ive also seen results within 12 hours of placing a Pothos cutting or watering with Pothos water. My leaves are also getting bigger and firmer 🌿✨
@kscape I watched a video on Pinterest that said that roots will grow faster in dark/solid containers for water props instead of clear glass πŸ‘€ another experiment to try! 😍 I’ve got some pothos cuttings in different color glass jars right now that I’m hoping to see results from!
@saatwood YES! Ive heard about this and that’s why I think this monstera rooted faster than my other!! This one was in a dark pink container and the other was in a clear glass jar!! PLEASE MAKE A POST, USE THE TAGS AND TAG ME πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ˜πŸ€πŸ€βœ¨πŸ”¬πŸŒΏ
I have my Niblet ( pothos) in a glass jar in the window and the root is lovely.i put all my starter plants in glass and I haven't had any problems..
@TerrificRedwood That’s amazing! Happy to know your water props are doing great! 😊
#RootPorn at its finest! πŸ’•πŸ’•πŸ’šπŸ’š @kscape thank you for posting Dariana!
