i left my plant with my dad for 2 weeks and it now looks ...

Your plant is beautiful! Wait till it starts getting pink/red daisy-like flowers. I have two I bought last June.
Your Baby Sun Rose (It still looks pretty healthy, and it looks good. When was the last time you/your father watered it?
I would take all the dead/dried leaves off first to make room for new leaves to grow.
Since, this plant is a succulent. Make sure the container/pot has good drainage, and has well-draining succulent soil as well. I recommend Miracle-Gro Cactus, Palm, and Citrus Potting Mix. Also, make sure to not over-water either. Only water when the soil is completely bone dry throughout, and the leaves start look deflated, to wilt/or look wrinkled.
It also looks like your pot is two small. The plant spreads out as it grows, if you want a fuller look of your plant, put it in a larger pot. They really look beautiful in hanging baskets, that is what I have mine in.
Lastly, if you have two of these plants do not pot them together, they eventually will start to compete for resources (water and soil nutrients). Give them their own separate container/pot.

Remove the dead parts, make sure the soil dries out. Mix some cinnamon and water, let steep over night, get another cup and a coffee filter or something pour the mix. The filter will catch the extra cinnamon. Then water it with the cinnamon water and use the Cinnamon on the filter like a paste and put on the spots you just cut (like putting ointment on a fresh cut). It'll help it tremendously β€οΈ cinnamon is a gardeners best friend
