This is a plant that will require you to give it an average amount of water each week. It will not require a lot, and sometimes, the rain will provide the plant with enough water, but if you have it potted to grow inside your home, then this plant will need to be watered at least biweekly.
EDIT: In the heat of the summer, you might need to water your jasmine every two to three days, or whenever the top 1/2 inch of soil feels dry. Feeling the soil is the best indicator; some soils retain water better than others, so you typically need to water less often with these. Stick your finger in to the second knuckle and if it feel dry water it. If it’s super moist don’t. They do like moist soil but not soggy and wet soil.
