From what I read they make it seem like the life will be sucked out of the Mother Plant, then u cut the pup. @DaringColtsfoot I did some reading and from what I figured the motherplant usually dies after blooming, so the rest of the energy goes to the pup? In that case I would probably just let it sit and when the motherplant starts to wither, just remove the mother?
Yeah, I agree, this Mom even though she bloomed months ago, is clearly not ready to leave the land of "Living Plants", so she will have to let me know when it is "Time" !
