Bird of Paradise Repotting Issue – New Leaves Yellowing A...

Hi everyone,
A few weeks ago my Bird of Paradise was pushing out a new leaf and the roots were getting cramped in its small pot, so I decided to repot it into a 9-inch pot ( it was in 7 ). I think I might have made a mistake, because the last healthy leaves have started to turn yellow and the new leaf stopped growing. I’m afraid the pot might be too big or I did something wrong.
Does anyone know what I should do now?

Hi Onur! Sounds like repot shock - did you happen to handle the roots a lot or did you grab the whole root ball and drop it in the new pot? Are you checking the soil before watering to make sure it’s not too soggy? How strong is your grow light? I know these guys can get fussy when repotting - make sure your basics are good and hopefully it will bounce back; the pot upsizing seems normal, but rough time of year to do it.
@Jho Thanks for your reply, Josh. I think my grow light is strong enough, and I didn’t touch the roots at all while repotting. I just moved it straight into the new soil. Hopefully it’s just repot shock and it will bounce back.
