What could be causing this?
I can't see any bugs, she is in a bathroom which gets a little cold and I noticed this mainly on the leaves closet to the wall. I have the heating on now though. (UK winter)
I wondered if it was inconsistent watering?
Any help greatly appreciated #calatheacrew #calathea #planthelp

Hi @MilkyParfait are the spots crispy or mushy? It could be watering, it could be pest damage.
Hi @MilkyParfait!
Do you know if the spots are growing? The yellow halo conserns me a little and might indicate it is some sort of fungal leaf spot.
If that is the case you should remove the infected leaves. Make sure you have good air ventilation and never have water standing on the leaves (no misting!). Treating the plant with a copper fungucide is reccomended (I have never done this myself though, so don't really know what works best).
Do you use tap-water? It might react to minerals or chemicals in your tap-water so it is usually reccomended to water with destilled or rain-water. Also well-draining soil is important.
Heating might also dry out the air more. As these plants are humidity-lovers they might get crispy edges. Make sure it doesn't stand in a draft, and they don't like cold eitherπ
