@RJG omg π thank you for the mention! My little moss ball π¦ pet is looking quite fresh! Not sure if he has any leaves, but fresh yes! π
@nellz4estfairyz how often does the water swap ?
@RJG Iβm still learning. Iβm a marimo moss ball newbie!! From what I understand once a week is ideal. I used distilled water but I have heard sparkling water or dechlorinated tap water or rain water can also be used. π
Oh, Iβm flattered! Thank you! & great job everyone! @nellz4estfairyz @grateful_68 @Chichi @SageTreeheather
@Plants_Galore I feel like a celebrity! π€© or at least my moss ball π¦ is a celebrity! π€£
@Plants_Galore This is a invite to all plant parents who have interest in marimo moss balls π¦ to join the moss ball gang #mossBallerinas πͺ΄π¦ π
@RealSimpleMama nice balls! π¦ π
@mugiwara π
@ToMuchPlants wow! I have never seen dragon fruit grown from seed. Very cool.
@nellz4estfairyz get another and you could have mossy balls !
@TheConservator this is a great idea! π
Okay #GregGang, wish me luck I had a lot of help from this community in my propagation, learning of secondary roots and even soil mixing. So my monstera adansonii is now in soil. #NewGrowth #PropagationStation #SoilMix #HappyPlants #MonsteraMob
@GreenPurpose i got mine in leca and stratum mix and she is doing so well....started off as a tiny cutting u can see the bamboo stick, she wasn't much taller than she shot up... lol
@shopofhorrors that monstera is awesome
@GreenPurpose lookin good! π
@Blueberrypie WHAT is that a double bloom amaryllis??!!?! How did you find that?!?!?
@Blueberrypie Love the amaryllis!! Theyβre gorgeous!!
@shopofhorrors I just invested in assorted media so for now my Monstera is in a mix of Fox Farm Ocean Forest with Purlite Bliss with a little used coffee grounds. I also recently bought a snake plant mix. Moving away from the MiracleGro
@nellz4estfairyz that is sooo cute π₯Ήπ

Wow awesome plants! Btw huge respect to @Chichi cus taking care of your poinsettia for more than a season, it's an accomplishment by itself, let alone the beautiful variegation! You're a great mum to her!
Thank you for the mention!
Thanks so much @starrykentia π₯° she's a lovely plant to take care of, just let her do her thing and let her butt chug when she's thirsty! β€οΈ

@Chichi I'm happy ur finding it easy, cus for many, it's not. I sorta fit into that category myself
@rebbieirl thanks!
@Azplantchic thanks!π
@nellz4estfairyz that little moss ball is everything! Love the pretty rocks.
@GreenPurpose yay! Love the Foxfarm soil! My plants are super happy.
@RealSimpleMama it was actually my first amaryllis ever and itβs still blooming like two months later!! I believe I bought it from Longfield Gardens? I think!! Itβs a pink and white sweet double nymph!
@GreenPurpose @teacher12
I was wondering how good fox farm is?? So your honest opinion how do ur plants like that soil? Was thinking of trying it when i do my repotting in the spring.
Also miracle grow is the worst. Honestly its no miracle. That company is the reason why I never tried to grow plants for most of my life, because every time I got a plant and used miracle grow, my plant would die. It took me years later, with the help of a friend to get my green thumb....

@shopofhorrors maybe @teacher12 would be better to ask. Iβve been learning so much in recent months and potting soil mix was offered to me recently. When I looked deeper into MiracleGro I was surprised to find out so many novice planters trashed the product. I still have a few plants recently repotted in MiracleGro. I took will be switching this spring
@shopofhorrors I have zero complaints about Foxfarm products. They were recommended to me by a plant enthusiast and Iβve had happy plants ever since. I will say that you have to check their website if you strictly want organic because not all of their products are organic. I have used miracle grow blended with perlite and other materials, and I know some people have good luck with it. I was shocked at how well my succulents have done with Foxfarm. Almost all of these plants have doubled in size. Itβs crazy. Most of my other plants are thriving too.
