These are ten days apart. This haggard thing skipped a year of pups, but it's baaaack. ps I bought - and got bored of - a time-lapse camera last year. I have finally been patient enough to leave it in one spot (behind this plant) for more than five days. I'm understanding how much damned prep work goes into every decent plant video ha.

Happy Friday everyone! I broke my new plant moratorium today, and I'm really happy I did. Got some adorable, itty bitty little succulents for like, $3 a pop. I did go ahead and pot them up into 2 inch pots since they were all dry and ready for a larger home. Unsure of the exact varieties, but two of them are Sempervivums. Plus I found a variegated string of pearls!! Went through and removed the questionable pieces and took some insurance props as I know these guys can be fickle. Gonna leave this one alone for now while it adjusts.

Im going to share my climatarium. Whuch i hope is finally getting its final@phase make over next week. Im waiting on some metal grating for the bottom of it before i can start the planting in it and true pot placement. Also my philo corners going nuts. New leaf on my vg billitea😍 and i succesfully re -reverted my burle marx vg to its glory with a few good cuts .🙌

#NewGrowth, #FreshLeafFriday  I had more this with new growth but wanted you to see the ones I’ve been worried about. I should never have decided I was mature enough to put three succulents together in a saucer that had no drainage in it. My son in law has now corrected that but I’m a newbie when it comes to knowing succulents. I thought knowing how to deal with Elephant Ears and Ponytail Palms I knew all I needed to know. Thank you for tolerating my ignorance and will get advice before I do something I know nothing about next time 🥲🪴🪴

@TooUnique1 its not about being mature . Its really just not a goid iidea over all. I have rons of plants and cacti succulents. None but a few cp/ bog plants are in non draing pots.  Truly just trying to save you years of dispare and list plants doin it . GROW-ON!

@TooUnique1 if you have a pit that doesnt have a hole its easy to drill one if you have a drill . Ceramic bit is like 5-10$ and fir plastic any bit ofc thats the right size will work. Wood or metal types that is

@TheConservator  can I forward this to son in law? I don’t even understand what you’re saying let alone do it but he’ll know exactly what you’re saying. Does that also work on clay and porcelain? At this point I’m using clay pots because I feel they are more forgiving. I’m not concerned about pretty pots I just want the plants I have to survive my mistakes. They are my friends at this point. I spend more time on them than anything else and I only have a few. Thank you for sharing a solution if I end up with a pot that doesn’t have drainage holes. I need to repot my Ponytail Palm and it is already in a large pot. I’m actually going to need help from daughter or son in law because I’m only 4’11” and weigh 115 so I’m not going to be able to translate by myself. Thank you so much for your advice. Do you own a plant business? I don’t know how you could because you have enough plants on your own to keep you busy! 🪴🪴🪴

Happy #freshleaffriday everybody!!! My String of Buttons (Benjamin 😉) is doing so well outside in a shady spot on my porch. So is this new variegated succulent that I just got and potted up in terracotta with homemade succulent soil. I'm not entirely sure what kind it is yet. My Purple Heart has two blooms!! I planted two raised beds with caladium bulbs that I saved from last year and I have about eight of them shooting up. I love the teeny leaves when they first start to emerge!!

@TheConservator — yes, he is! i mean, constant, clean water, high moisture, a little food? what more could you ask for?! lol. ♡

@ZarfCrowndaisy6 — he's a tree frog, so he had the cute little sticky feet. he needs constant moisture, and he basically lives in that little area underneath the pot that's there for the "self-watering" feature of the pot! lol. im extremely careful to not overwater that plant, so i don't flood him out. ive only seen him in that particular pot, and the one directly in front of it, which is the same exact style of pot. lol. so he stays in the neighborhood and doesn't ever wander too far from home, apparently! he's got constant moisture, fresh, cool water, and even a little food, so he's content and happy. he's been there for almost a whole week, at this point. he may have moved in permanently! ♡
