Why my Basil looks like this
Hi there… I recently got a Basil plant and it’s supposed to receive direct sunlight so I placed it by the window but lately the temperatures have dropped and the plant has started to look this way. Any recommendations on how to improve this please!? I would much appreciate it ❤️❤️❤️❤️
TO me, it just looks like it needs watered. @roddariford
But also, it looks like you are keeping the blinds closed?
It needs a LOT of sun!

@UltraKoreanfir thank you so much for your tip. I gave her some water and place it by the window. Will this be a good location?

It looks a lot better! I don't know what direction the window is facing, but it looks nice & bright. As long as it gets bright sun for 4 to 6 hours a day, it should do great! If the leaves get patches of dry/brown where the sun hits, that's sunburn, but it isn't likely. These plants can withstand full-on direct sun. 🌞
They also benefit from being trimmed and will get bushier, so don't be afraid to cut little bunches off to use in cooking!
