How do I get this guy to flower?

Has it flowered before? Pink Quill is a bromeliad that only flowers once. Once the inflorescence dies the plant starts declining. You'll know if it's reaching its end when it puts out lots of pups

I bought it on a clearance shelf already flowered and the flower was dark green at the time. My guess is propgate the pups?

Yah. The pups should flower in a few years or so, depending on how much light there is
