Upcoming Experiments for #ScienceWithGreg πŸŒ±πŸ”¬πŸ’§
Hello there, #GregGang πŸ‘‹πŸ½ *This is a long read πŸ’€

After a month of starting the community and #PothosWater, I’ve been overwhelmed by the amount of growth I’ve been having in my #PlantCorner! It has been hard to keep track and update y’all on what’s been going on and I’m sorry about that! Most of my water propagations were transplanted yesterday since some were starting to have problems. After repotting about 4-6 props, I woke up to a few of them pushing out growth! 🀩⚑️🌿

πŸ“Έ Quick 1 Month Update (All of these are/were rooted in 50/50 Distilled & PothosWater):

β€’First Pic : #HeartleafPhilodendron is rooting and pushing out new growth! #PhilodendronBrasil is taking a little longer to root and I had 3 leaves’ nodes rot, so that’s kind of sad since it’s a #wishlistplant. #PhilodendronCreamSplash is rooting slowly but greatly as well! ✨🌱

β€’Second Pic : #SatinPothos & #CebuBluePothos rooted FAST after a month in #PothosWater that they were ready for a home! I potted these together since I didn’t have room, but I don’t mind the look. 😌🌿

β€’Third Pic : Doki πŸ’• my #VSOH is growing FAST after I started watering with #PothosWater

β€’Fourth Pic : I transplanted most of my cuttings after a month or two of propagating! Did I do a good job? 😁🀣

β€’Last Picture is what I have left of my #WaterPropagation πŸ₯²

So what’s next for #ScienceWithGreg? If you want me to be honest, I’m not entirely sure! I do know that I want to keep experimenting with #PothosWater and slow rooting plants! I want to find fun and easy ways for new users and veterans to interact and get involved with their plants! In the end, I just want to help people out and share my hobby!

Have any ideas for #ScienceWithGreg? let me know in the comments!

What about soggy boy? πŸ‘€
@PlantyPlanter he’s still sleeping! No growth or anything, just sleepy rhizome 😌
@kscape awww, let’s hope he gets some growth soon! 🀞🏻
Ahhh! The differences between planters. Ceramic, terracotta, plastic, glass etc. I think terracotta loses water more quickly than plastic or vice versa. Idr. But I think it would be cool to Learn the pros and cons and then see pic what would be best or worst for a particular plant and then put it to a test. I will gladly donate supplies for you if you need them. πŸ’œ @kscape
@LatiTish84 Aww that is so sweet! I’ve actually been experimenting with the few terracotta and plastic pots I have! I’ve noticed that Syngonium honestly kind of thrive in porous pots and others thrive in plastic pots! This is a great idea and would love to try this out! 😁😁
Yay!! This will be fun! Let me know what you need. @ManyLime can give you my number. @kscape πŸ’šπŸ’š
Your goals are the best! Keep up the good work. ❀️
@kscape my Philo brasil seems so tender and fragile.... I have had amazing results propping her in sphagnum moss that is soaked in pothos water!
@LatiTish84 I’ll ask her for your number! Thank you again πŸ₯°
@Pegster Thank you Peggy! πŸ’–
@angelw1975 woooo! That’s absolutely amazing!! So happy that it’s doing WONDERS for you! πŸ€©πŸ’§πŸŒΏ
@kscape I just love seeing your posts. They pick me up. My wish list to is the philodendron cream splash.
I'm still trying out pothos water en masse...or however you say that 🀣🀣🀣
Still putting GP in my 2 liter water bottles that I use to water my plants along with my mosquito dunks or mosquito bits. So far the mosquito dunks/ bits don't effect the growth of the gp.
I have 4 bottles and rotate them out. Making sure one soaks at least 2-3 days at a time
@angelw1975 Newbie here. πŸ™‚ What is prospering?
@TruthfulApricot i believe they mean propagating in sphagnum moss! :)

Must have been a typo
@kscape Great! Thanks. 😊
@TruthfulApricot oops it was a typo!!! *Propping*
@angelw1975 😁
How fun!! Maybe a maranta next?
@tango ooooo I’ve never seen them in person 😭😭 that would be GREAT!
@kscape mine was a cutting from a friend’s office and it rooted super well! She’s super happy and I would def reccomend. 😁
