How tall will my Rainier ZZ plant get?
@NewHoarypuccoon Hi Jason, Your ZZ will get to be about 4 feet tall but it might take a while. They are slow growers.
Yep, 3-4 feet on average but they can grow taller in ideal conditions. Keep in mind though they will not just grow that tall, they will be just as wide as they are tall. Mine has reached 4 foot and is still growing to keep it a bit contained I use stakes.
Also, Donβt overwater her they like to be completely dry before you water again! Less is more for Zz plants! πͺ΄ Also, make sure she is planted in succulent soil. They absolutely hate wet feet β€οΈ

@PatientRedmambo I did too my 1st one but it wasn't my fault, she arrived overwatered so badly I couldn't save her. The next one was perfect. As long as I don't overwater her myself! π I've had her awhile now and lots of new growth but not height, yet.
@SuperbRaspfern thank you very much for saying that. Mine is in a self watering potβ¦. I added water back a couple days agoβ¦.
Your welcome, I definitely would not use a self watering pot for her, if you do, donβt use it like itβs supposed to be used she will just stay waaay to wet. Sorry π’, you can still use the pot just donβt fill the revisor.
Personally, now this is just my opinion. But I really donβt recommend using them for ANY plant they really just keep the soil tooo moist and will lead eventually to root rot. As I said just my opinion.
