I wish it was just that, but it was actually leaning awayβ¦ And now it just wants to flop. Iβm wondering if it needed maybe some fresh soil and a bigger pot which is what Iβm going to try to do the root ball seems very shallow and small, which maybe itβs normal for that plant but it seems strange to me.
@Canadianintexas Mentioning just in case: When sizing up in pots, a good rule of thumb is to go no more than 1 inch wider than the root ball because the plant will focus its energy into root growth until it feels snug again. In general, if you want deeper roots, using a pot around the same width as the root ball but with some depth will help direct its root growth downward.
As for the lean, a support stick may be a good idea while you work on identifying the underlying issue, so low light exposure doesnβt become a secondary issue.

Mine did the same thing I repotted it with different soil. I made my own with organic coco coir, organic worm cast & organic perlite and just put more soil in to where it was flopping over and it worked its not not flopping anymore. You can also putva stick in and tie it loosely to the stick for a few weeks til it gets stronger
@Canadianintexas Mines a leaner too. I had put a popsicles split on till the base got bigger but it still leans . A good mix is Peat , coco chips and charcoal those roots get huge . I was so mad at mine but look what is emerging now
@Canadianintexas I just noticed mines going to flower again. Thought you may want to see before I cut it out . A good sign theyβre happy though .
