Need help with my new monstera plant!

I just bought this plant today at home depot, I thought the roots might be waterboarded so I’d have to do a trim but I’m not sure I need to cut anything and should instead just get a bigger pot for the roots to branch out. What do you think?

Another thing is some of the leaves don’t have the monstera look to them. Do I cut these off or leave them alone?
2ft to light, indirect
14” pot with drainage

The first few leaves as a monstera grows will not have fenestration. They are perfectly normal. I would absolutely put that plant in a bigger pot!
I would recommend a bigger pot, and don't cut the leaves. They could be a result of being root bound.
@MeganGoodell thanks that’s what I ended up doing! Bought a 14 inch pot to give the roots some room and a chunky soil mixture.
