My ferns hate being anywhere except the shower as far as I can tell. My hubby is not happy with that, so they are slowly dying. Apparently he was startled when he stopped into the shower and almost stepped on a plant 🤣 I’m thinking about hanging mine in the shower because they also soak up the humidity which is great for the bathroom. I went to a fern show and all of the ferns looked dry and sad. I’m pretty sure they like a greenhouse or living by a waterfall.
When my ferns are outside, they like being in the sun. When brought in, they need a south window where they get as much direct sun as possible. Plus they need a lot of water, when inside and when out.
