Lilth’e is showing yellow stems at the top and browning on some of her leaves … I’m not sure what to do . If anyone could provide any tips on how to get her back healthy and glowing I’d greatly appreciate it ❤️
4ft to light, direct
8” pot with drainage
Last watered 1 week ago
@angelikam thank you so much😊, I just repotted so hopefully this new home will make things better .I’m going to also try moving her to a new location. Thanks again
The yellow stems are completely normal. I had to google and zoom in on SO MANY pictures to figure out this is normal. No one knew what I was talking about lol. The browning is most likely from lack of humidity or sensitivity to tap water. I see you have a humidifier on her plant card, are you using distilled or rain water. Good luck with your beauty! These plants are SO, SO boujie 💅🏼
Lilith’e looks great to be honest. I didn’t know how picky these were at first and because of that mine was down to 3 leaves! 😫
This is a stock photo I found online and if you zoom in you can see the yellow where the leaf connects to the stem.
@babyfiretiger13 😂😂 boujie indeed, I should try using rain water for the humidifier (definitely a great idea💡 ) Lol thank you for the picture as well I feel better about the yellowing of the stem.
@SublimeLychee it seems like you did all of your homework already, in time she will reward you with all her stunning beauty ✨✨✨ p.s. here’s a pic of mine to really make you feel better lol
This beauty is absolutely stunning, but also the beeeotch of my plant family. She is incredibly picky and is such a diva. She dropped 3 leaves in quick succession about a month after I brought her home. I thought she was dying. Then a couple of months after that, she is finally treating me to her first new leaf (not dead!) thank you @babyfiretiger13 for pointing out that yellow. I have that in mine too and didn’t even pay attention. Too distracted by her glorious leaves! I also struggle with the slight crisp edges (even next to a humidifier) like I said…she’s a beeeeotch!
@calvina they sure are lol 😂 mine gave me 2 new leaves this past week and I’m hoping 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 🙏🏼 that they don’t crisp up. Her boujie butt was the reason I had to get a humidifier. Buy a calathea on “sale” they said…. Lol but they didn’t say how much the upkeep would be!! 🤡🤡🤡
@babyfiretiger13 right! Had no idea what I got myself into, yet I am so delighted every time I look at her. It’s a love/hate relationship.
@calvina it’s definitely a love/hate relationship lol!
