Repotting Tips?
So, I purchased Demi earlier this spring at Home Depot and tucked her away in this slip pot to deal with later. What you can't see well in her profile photo is that she has very much overgrown the nursery pot she is in and in desperate need of repotting. I am afraid that she is going to break apart when I take her out of the nursery pot. Has anyone ever repotted something like this and can give me pointers? She has a sister I went back to rescue who is even more overgrown and is curling over the pot (pretty sure aloes aren't supposed to do that 🤷‍♀️). I already know these ladies gonna scratch me up so I'm prepared to bleed for them if necessary 😂

My suggestion is to go up one size in the pot. Pull her up and measure the width of her root system then get a pot 2 inches larger. Use Sandy soil mixed with pumice (not vermiculite or perlite) so the water drains away from the roots and doesn’t cause root rot. She’s beautiful! Keep up the good work!
Thanks! Mostly I'm just afraid that it's going to fall apart when I take it out of the pot, but if I take my time hopefully she'll remain intact.
