Hydroponic root rot?

Please help. I'm worried about root rot in my hydroponic calathea, she's been doing perfectly fine but I realize she has not pushed out the leaf that's been waiting to unfurl so I went to check and give it a more closer look and as you'll see in the images, some of the leaves are Browning dying off and the roots look a little suspicious as well. #help #rootrot #hydroponics #calatheacrew

Try wiping off any slimy spots, cut out rot and clean the roots with hydrogen peroxide to treat any root rot.
@Jilliebeanstalk cleaned the roots and thankfully pretty sure I caught it early cuz it wasn't too bad and not smelly, so treated with hydrogen peroxide and cleaned the bowl good and put fresh water with just a drop of the hydrogen peroxide and put leca. Will be closely monitoring
@slothz awesome. ๐Ÿ‘ so happy
Hey- I thought for the hydro you only needed some water in the bottom like enough to cover the roots.
Maybe lower water level will help with rot.
