Help I think my plant has root rot

My other plant has root rot but I wasn’t able to save it. Now it appears to have spread to this one. I have no idea what to do. I heard about trying to sprinkle cinnamon powder on it to help, but will it actually work? This plant belonged to my Grandma who passed away recently and I really want to keep it alive. Please help, I am open to any solutions. πŸ™

Hi, Valerie! It doesn't look like root rot to me. Can you post a picture of what your plant looks like from the top?

From your oasis picture, the plant looks very underwatered. From your current picture, the leaves look much more plump and healthy!
@sarahsalith is it okay then that the roots aren’t white and are more of a light brown?
Hi Valerie! I noticed this post today and I know it’s been a bit since you last asked about the roots but I think it looks ok. I see a lot of white and light brown but the roots don’t look mushy and the soil looks decently dry. If you’re still worried you could always repot it in fresh dry soil and then wait a few days before watering. I’d break up that potting mix until it’s mostly the root ball and give it some fresh soil. Hope this helps!
